Our second rendition of the monthly swim night showed another night of tough performances. The weather again proved to be a challenge. With strong winds and heavy gray clouds, our swimmers had to brave the elements
for a second time.
The Green vs. Blue format worked well once more with each team trying to get their swimmers to swim as many events as possible to score more points.
Outstanding swims were shown in the duels between Darryl Bleasdale and James Horrey: Darryl taking a close decision in the
freestyle and James revenging in the backstroke.
The Blue Team had more swimmers race, which gave them an edge in the points tally; however, the Green Team showed some excellent racing style and held the score close.
Going into the November Night, the Green team held the advantage 76 to 65.
After events were done on this night, the score was Green 89 to Blue 93.
Going into our Christmas Event, each team has won one night. Green holds a score advantage of 165 to Blue’s 158.
