What a month of swimming it was at the Botany Aquatic Centre! We had record numbers of attendance at all squads and across all groups. The warm summer days, the multitude of ocean swims and school carnivals gave that extra inspiration to get down to the pool.

We had a good group show up for the third Thursday’s club night event. We introduced our new GREEN vs. BLUE dual carnival format. Everyone swam fast and pushed for scoring points for their team.

The Blue team pushed to an early lead and looked like an eventual winner, however, with some really gutsy racing and a strong finish in the relay, the Green team came home with a 1-point victory.

Thanks again to everyone who volunteered their time on the day in many formats.

The club would like to take this opportunity to thank Susan Fisher for her energy and support while serving as Registrar on the Executive Committee. Sue’s vision and patience provided much needed help just when it was needed. Thank you, Susan; we are happy to have had your abilities on board. Best of Luck in your new role at work.
