What a Night!!
We were happy to see some new faces come along for the events this month. Especially the Farrelly and Williamson families, who possibly, against their best intentions, stayed the long haul after squads had finished. Welcome also the Irons, Wilson, O’Neil and Romeo families who made the effort after training.
The BLUE vs. GREEN team format really worked a treat as we saw some dramatic races. Namely in the 50 Butterfly between John Wilson and Alan Bloom; and the 50 Backstroke between Ashleigh Wilson and Kieren Irons.
The competition was fun and extremely close. With a one point difference heading into the final relay event, the Blue team was looking confident, but didn’t take it easy. With taking the relay, the Blue team went home victorious.
Thank you to all involved. It was a really positive night.
